We use 4 ,P8541 sensors to monitor bearing temperatures. These sensors measure 4 temperatures each.
Strangely enough we recieve from time to time an email with an overflow at channel 6, but we only have 4 channels!
All sensors report this at the same time. See below for a typical email:   (what is wrong here?)

Upper Limit: 60.0 °C, Lower Limit: 0.0 °C, Hysteresis: 1.0 °C, Alarm Delay: 120 s 

Channel 4:
Upper Limit: 60.0 °C, Lower Limit: 0.0 °C, Hysteresis: 1.0 °C, Alarm Delay: 120 s
