Include channel descriptions in SOAP message
Hi.
It would be really nice to have the user configurable channel names/descriptions included in the SOAP message. Any particular reason why these aren't included?

Hi,
We haven't integrated names of channels in standard SOAP XML from history/compatibility reasons. Web sensors are in production many years and we cannot break compatibility with end user applications.
Firmware of P8xxx devices is composed from a two parts. One part is a device firmware (binary) itself and 2nd part are a web pages compiled into one "COB file". This "COB file" contains template for SOAP XML also. This template can be changed according end user needs. Firmware provides dynamic informations using special tags <%%>.
