Dear Comet support team,

I would like to make a bulk import of thousands of mss-Files into a SQL database. We would like to analyse our historical data.

Is there a way you can suggest? Open every file in the software and export it to an Excel file or a dbf and import it from there is not an option.

Is it possible to access the mss directly? What kind format is the mss? Is it hex, binary ...?

Hello,
for export to sql database you must use COMET VISION : https://www.cometsystem.com/products/co … ers/reg-cv
and COMET DATABASE: https://www.cometsystem.com/products/co … se/reg-cdb

In COMET VISION, use bulk export and data will be exported to COMET DATABASE. You can work with the data.

COMET VISION is free software.
COMET DATABASE is after installing in TRIAL mode, after the expiration of the time you need to purchase a license.

thank you for your support. I took me a little bit to get everything running.

When I use the bulk export function, for most of the files it fails. But if I open in COMET VISION one of the files and make a single export, it works. Do you have any idea, why i have this behaviour of the System?

Hi,

Please contact our technical support at support@cometsystem.com directly. Please provide following information(s):
- version of Comet Vision software
- version of Comet Database
- error message from bulk export (if there is)
- samples of mss files, which you are not able export into database
