Can curves be viewed via ethernet?

1: On my T6540 the curves can be viewed through Ethernet, but not on my M1300 multilogger. Will it be possible in the future?
2: Also, I cant't find any way to download and install updates?
3: Can the Comet Vision sw access the logger via WAN or external IP?

Re: Can curves be viewed via ethernet?

Hi Eric,

I am sorry for a late answer, we had Christmas holidays. Answers to your questions:

1. Charts on Web pages in Multilogger devices are currently not supported. Graphs from recorded values or from online values you can see via Comet Vision software.
2. Currently (2017-01-02) are not available firmware updates for devices from Multilogger family. When will be updates released, it will be available at Comet web pages. In short period we want release new version of Comet Vision software which brings many new features.
3. Yes it is possible. You need only forward communication port on your gateway. For communication is used TCP port 10001. This port can be changed.

Re: Can curves be viewed via ethernet?

Hi Jan, and thanks for answer.
However, on question 3, where in Comet Vision can I specify the external address? The address fields on the bottom seems to be usable only for the webpage button?

Re: Can curves be viewed via ethernet?

Hi,

No. This filed is used to insert IP address or domain address of your Multilogger.

Re: Can curves be viewed via ethernet?

I am still not able to make Connection from Comet Vision to my M1300 through WAN.  The program keeps saying "Trying to Connect".

I have set up forwarding through router from WAN to LAN (have tried both port 10001 and 1026). After filling in IP address and port, i click on Refresh and the cursor spins for half a second, but no multilogger appears.
I have succeded to view the web page, which should indicate that I have most of the setup ok.

By the way: what is the "Filter" check box for?

Re: Can curves be viewed via ethernet?

Hi Eric,

We will check if there is no issue to connect Multilogger from another subnet. I suppose not, but I let you know.

This filter "hides" devices which are not supported by Comet Vision (e.g. WebSensors, MS6/MS55, etc.)

Update:
We tested communication with Multilogger connected via 3G router. We found connection issue with latest version (1.2) of Comet Vision software. This new version was released yesterday and we fix this issue in next release.

But previous version 1.1 works without any problem with Multilogger connected via WLAN. Previous version 1.1 you can downland here Comet vision v1.1. If you will have still issue with connection, maybe you can also try forward UDP port 30718 (I think that forwarding UDP port is not important, but you can try it).

Hi Eric,

We again check with Multilogger in another network and we not found any problem. Let we move this topic offline. Please check your inbox.
