Setting MIB sysname, T3510
Hello!
I aquired a T3510 today for monitoring temperature and humidity in our server room.
I got the unit set up and I have no problems reading the various OIDs by SNMP.
But I'm trying to set the MIB sysname value, with no luck.
Using the Tsensor software I set the SNMP write community string, but i still get an error when I try to cange the value of sysname.
I need to change this because our monitoring software gets the device name from this value.
Any ideas?

Hi Simen,
Please update your device to latest firmware version 1-5-7-2. This firmware version brings support for configurable SNMP sysName field. In this version is sysName set to first 16 characters of device name. I expect that this is exactly what you need.
To obtain firmware version 1-5-7-2 please contact directly our technical support at info@cometsystem.cz.
