Direct connection T7510 to PC

I used Ethernet cable to connect PC with T7510. After connection: left LED on Ethernet device port was green on constantly and right LED green was blinking. Then I run Tsensor and follow all instruction from User Guide. But device was not found. After I applied factory IP 192.168.1.213 and MAC address of device there was screen message ""Request of IP address change was successfully sent"", but device not appeared in list. Right LED was off at this moment. Same situation when I choosed DHCP (0.0.0.0 IP). How it is possible to connect sensor directly to PC with TSensor? Thank you for your answer.

Re: Direct connection T7510 to PC

Hi Daniel,
You need cross ethernet cable for direct connection between T7510 and PC. Then you can change device IP address.

Re: Direct connection T7510 to PC

Thanks, MichalV! I don`t have cross cable, so I solved it using 2 standart cables + Ethernet switch. Now when I run TSensor I can see my device in list with correct MAC address. But when I try to connect to device (without changing IP) with factory IP 192.168.1.213 it is message: "sensor connection failed".  I want to test device firstly with factory IP. Is it possible to connect to device without changing IP address?

Re: Direct connection T7510 to PC

Hi Daniel,
sensor IP address and PC IP address must be in the same subnetwork. I'm afraid of you have to change some ip address (sensor or PC ip).

Re: Direct connection T7510 to PC

Problem solved by applying DHCP - obtain IP address automatically.
