I have just installed a new T7310 sensor, with RS232 serial interface, on one of the PC's built-in ports (COM2).

The TSensor Sensor Setup Utility (v. 3.1.4.0) reports : "Firmware version on the connecting device is not supported by this program version".

The communications settings in the TSensor Sensor Setup Utility are:
    Serial RS232
    COM2
    9600 baud

The COM2 port settings in Windows are:
    9600 bps
    8 data bits
    No parity
    2 stop bits
    No flow control

Windows Device Manager shows no problems with the COM2 port.

The T7310 appears to be working (its display is on).

Can anyone suggest why I can't communicate?
