cannot connect to T3510

I have a T3510 and it worked for some months sending info with snmp. Now the snmp is not working and I can't connect to T3510 by tsensor neither by telnet. I can only get ping answers.
At Find Device option in Tsensor software, only the IP and MAC addresses are shown. I tried to connect directly at the ethernet port using the same network address, but without success.
Anyone can help me?

Re: cannot connect to T3510

Hi,

As you described, it looks your T3510 device has wrongly set IP address, subnet mask or gateway. Network parameters of device are probably set to different network than device is connected.

Procedure how to handle with this problem is described in user manual. But in brief. If inside your network is available DHCP server follow these steps:

- run TSensor software -> Find Device Window -> Help! My device wasn't found!
- insert MAC address of the device (MAC address you find at factory label)
- check DHCP option or set IP address to 0.0.0.0 (IP 0.0.0.0 = DHCP)
- confirm device settings, TSensor change device settings to DHCP
- device will be rebooted, and ask DHCP server for IP

Re: cannot connect to T3510

Hi, Jan.
The device IS found. The IP address is set to the same network. I even tried to directly connect a laptop at the ethernet port. The sensor IP is 10.181.5.102/24 and the laptop is 10.181.5.100/24. The MAC shown is exactly the same at factory label.
Thanks,
Antonio.

Re: cannot connect to T3510

I also tried to change IP using the TSensor software, but instead of success message, the IP isn't changed.

Re: cannot connect to T3510

Hi, Jan.
The LED is blinking in a fixed frequency.
You won't be able to connect at the device because the network is protected and this type of connection isn't allowed by firewall policies.
I sent 2 pics to your mailbox.

Re: cannot connect to T3510

Hi Antonio,

If both LED on RJ45 connector green blinking in interval approximately 0.5 sec, it means main firmware inside flash memory is damaged. This mainly occurs if firmware is not successfully updated.
If you know IP of the device or you can find device inside TSensor then is good chance for device restore. More information via email support.

Re: cannot connect to T3510

My T3510 is blinking same way. It responds to Ping but no telnet. Sensor setup utility can detect ip and Mac, but it not detect firmware or sensor type. What can i do?
