I have several questions:-

Is it possible to edit the standard email messages sent by this model of device?

Is it possible to have the warning messages repeated? It seems you only get one warning.

What is the latest firmware for this model?

Where do you get firmware updates?

No, email message is hardcoded in firmware. What do you need see in email message? Maybe I can make a small change inside firmware for you...

Latest version is: 4-5-5-03 / 1.10 from 2012-10-30

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I believe the units we have received are not set with the latest firmware. Their web page certainly does not display the same details the sample on your site. I'll check when I get into work and try the download later.

Is there an option for a periodic or daily test email? ie a status report?

Re the email message, I'll review whats required for the warnings but as it's very specific to our business I suspect it will not be possible. On our other systems the emails include specific contact details and what action is required by the recipient.

The units we have are Sensormetrix Titanium, P8610. We were advised these are 'badged' Comet P8610 PoE. The firmware on them is 4-5-1.22
Will the firmware you indicated, 4-5-5-03 for P8xxx, be suitable?

We are having connectivity issues with the units:-
1)they sometimes fail to connect, via the browser
3) the web browser we use looks nothing like the one on the Comet site

Hi,

Firmware 4-5-1-22 is a old firmware version. You do not have to worry update your device to 4-5-5-03 firmware.

ad 1) New firmware have better web server. Upgrade solve your problems.
ad 3) That is true, new firmware version looks completely different.
