I currently have several of the T3511 unit in our lab and I've download the current TSensor software. I connected
to our network and I'm able to find the units but when I try to connect I get Firmware Version not supported. Is there something I need to do on the sensors or do I need an older version of TSensor?

Hello,
Please send to me serial numbers of your device (from factory label).
You can try make factory defaults using telnet on port 9999:
1. Open command line 2. Write command telnet <IP> 9999 (e.g. telnet 192.168.1.213 9999) 3. Press <Enter> key 4. Press key 7 .... Factory defaults 5. Press key 9 .... Save and exit

When I scrolled thru the Telnet information right after the MAC was list the software version that I had pinged. Didn't know if that would help you or not.

Hello,
I think best way is upgrade to latest firmware version. Firmware can be downloaded from ours web pages: http://www.cometsystem.cz/userfiles/fil … 5_2_04.zip

Got to the Firmware update window and I'm getting unknown device when I hit the update button.

Now I'm not sure what's going on. They were having problems with our time clock and they go manufacture to log into our network and corrected the IP address and now I'm not seeing the T3511 at all on the network. The Tsensor software isn't finding it. I had the disconnect the time clock but it still isn't being found by the Tsensor software and when I ping the IP address I originally gave it I'm not finding anything there. Is there anything else I can do to see if I can find the T3511 sensor?

I don't have any idea what can be wrong. Only one reason can be IP address conflict.

I'm not even seeing the sensors anymore. I've got 3 of them and none of them is showing up on the Tsensor since they did what ever to the our time clock. I've got green lights on the module so i'm show connection there. I did get the email but right now I've got no IP address so not sure what's going on.

Hello,
Please try connect device to the different network, or you can try connect device using crossover-cable with your PC. Do you use static IP or DHCP? You can also use "Help! My device not found" button inside TSensor software.

I've tried both static IP and DHCP and it's not finding any of the 3. I've manually assigned IP using the help and Mac number but it's not finding them. Also had them reboot the server thought that might be part of the problem. Not sure about the crossover cable.

Hello,
Weird I haven't any idea what can be wrong. Of course you can try sniff your network using Wireshark, but this is not really easy. I think best way will be connect device inside different network and there try communication.
By the way... How started problems with device?

I was just going to upgrade the firmware because 2 of them are out of tolerance and I need to get to calibration portion of Tsensor. As you mentioned these are older units and the new Tsensor wouldn't talk to them although it could find them. That was until manufacture of our time clock remote accessed our system. Once they did that Tsensor can't find them now. Right now is trying to find a network that I can put these on. The possibility is we have a sonic wall that we're also using as are router which might be blocking it. Plus we don't have a full time IT person so hard to get help addressing these issues. Appreciate your help though.

Hello,
Find device use UDP broadcast on port 30718. Maybe something block this communication - firewalls, gateways, proxy server, etc.

The similar problem - my device T3510 was with firmware 02.34/1-5-2.03. I try to update to 1-5-6.00 because new devices, I bought recently, are with this release.
Unfortunately, the new firmware have SOAP compatibility issue with the schema and my SOAP server could not recognize it.
I downgraded the firmware, back to the 1-5-2.03 and after that TSensor 3.1.1.0 start to show me "Firmware version ... is not supported".
This is strange, becasue all other devices with the same firmware release are manageable via last TSensor software.
What's wrong?
