Re: P8510 Firmware problem

Hello,

I have a similar Issue. I tried to do a firmware upgrade on a P8510 Web Sensor to Version: fw_P8xxx_4-5-5-04  but it said it didn't complete properly. Now I cannot get to the web interface of the sensor but I can ping the device. I can find the device on the network using Sensor Setup Utility but unable to connect to it via Ethernet. I've tried to connect to it via Serial as well but was not able to do so. I've also done a reset using the jumper inside the unit but still cannot talk to it.
Can someone please help me bring this device back to life? Thanks.

Re: P8510 Firmware problem

Hi,

Firmware version 4-5-1.21 is a very old. It is more then 10 years old (release date 2010-03-16).

Please contact our technical support directly. They will provide you latest firmware version for a P8xx devices (version 4-5-8.01). Please perform update of your device to this latest version. If you will not be able do that, please provide detail information about your device (serial number and MAC address) and error code shown during update.
