I have Commeter D4141 (Digital thermo-hygro-barometer with external probe) we have been using it at one of our remote domestic airports as a back up. now we want to shit it to a different airport and want to reset and add new parameters and information of the airport. We do not have USB cable so how can we reset and make it read the information of the location manually.

Hello,

you can set (change) some parameters directly - see device manual (http://www.cometsystem.cz/userfiles/fil … -d4141.pdf) what parameters and how to do it.

Full device configuration is possible to do using software only. It requires communication cable and software (http://www.cometsystem.cz/userfiles/fil … 0.10.0.exe).

Note:
We don't exactly understand well your question. What do you mean "reset", "add new parameters and information" and "how can we reset and make it read..."?

by reset i mean, the equipment was initially set to the AD ELVE of that airport. now we are shifting the equipment to a different airport. so we would like to set the aerodrome elevation of the airport and use it as back up in times of main system failure. by parameters i mean the AD ELVE and height of the area as we do not have a external cable.
Is there any way to manually put in these information?

We are sorry but there is no way to do it. You need to connect your device to PC and change parameters there using software. Contact your seller or our sales department (http://www.cometsystem.cz/en/contact.php) to buy communication cable (probably you need RS232/USB converter also).
