Controlling HVAC Function

Hi All

I am looking at replacing a current digital thermometer/triple bi metallic thermostat set up with a comet device.

Currently the system is designed to switch AC Units every 12 hours, but at a point of critical temperature then both AC Units operate until environment is cool again.

Is it possible to have a comet device control when the standby AC starts up?
Is it possible to have more than 1 alarm set?

Currently i am set as follows

Normal no bi mettalic devices operated
> 25 degrees critical temperature reached alarm presented on monitoring and start standby AC Unit (first bi metallic thermostat)
> 32 degrees high temperature alarm presented on monitoring system (second bi metallic thermostat)
> 40 degrees over temperature alarm presented on monitoring system (third bi metallic thermostat)

I would like a single device which is capable of outputting these warnings and also controlling the standby Air Conditioning Unit, is this possible??

Best Regards
Lee

Re: Controlling HVAC Function

Is it possible to use some communication standard like Modbus or Advantech with your monitoring system or you have binary inputs only? For example see H0530 (built in temperature sensor) or H4531 (external temperature probe) desription at http://www.cometsystem.cz/english/indus … hernet.htm or simillar with RS485 interface http://www.cometsystem.cz/english/humidistat-rs485.htm
They provides TWO configurable relay outputs and serial communication at once. Device with three relay outputs is not available. If you would use for more places see our universal monitoring system http://www.cometsystem.cz/english/monit … em-ms5.htm where is possible to add external 16channel output relay modul.
